Academy Cup points for teenager

There were more Academy Cup points for Nicole McAleer at Snetterton, the teenager was more than delighted to gain a few more points this season after a torrid start to the year.

The Omagh lass had been struggling to come to grips with the new fuel this season but in a change at Snetterton, another new fuel was introduced to the riders in the Relentless British 125GP Championship and this helped the youngster gain some much needed confidence.

The team are hoping that this will be the turning point in the season after securing 25th place overall and ninth in the Academy Cup. Looking forward to two weeks time and Knockhill which is a track were McAleer has always had a good record and she will be heading there with a much needed confidence boosting race at Snetterton.
